Carter's health reports speak for themselves. However, to describe him as merely "a dog" is truly an understatement. He is a gentle giant and most befitting of the breed standard for temperament. He will sound an alarm bark whenever a stranger comes calling, but he will eagerly approach welcomed visitors with warm enthusiasm. Whenever we attend any kind of public event he is nothing less than a perfect ambassador of the breed through his gentle nature and stunning presence. Carter's an incredibly social boy who is great with other dogs of all sizes, cats, old folks and children. We expect he will pass these most desirable traits down to his progeny!
Carter has proven to possess a lively herding instinct! He is very kind to sheep while ready to take direction from his shepherd. He passed his Herding Instinct Test at only 8 months of age. He also passed his Temperament Test with Gunfire with a score of 95!
Carter is a Second Generation Outcross out of Noah who is out of Boz. Carter is a wonderful dog of excellent temperament, size, and heavy bone. His pedigree is loaded with many Shiloh Shepherd Champions, plus he has the advantage of genetic diversity. He is TSSR registered, and his progeny will be considered "Full Shiloh Shepherd". As a second generation outcross, his registry, his breeder and myself are taking the utmost care in considering appropriate BUT limited breeding's to him. If you would like to discuss a potential breeding, please contact either ME or Nancy Dietz with your inquiry.
Thank you!
