About Ruby...

CanCH Kai-Lyn's Rubicon V Genesis

Introducing "Ruby"! Born May 22, 2008, she was the black collared girl from Genesis Shiloh's Trinity/Carter breeding. I had the pleasure of participating in the Temperament and Conformation examination of this litter, and as the owner of the sire (Carter) I was thrilled with the beautiful bone and size of the puppies! Beautifully domed heads, great stops, wide and short muzzles, pronounced pigment, good tails, decent ears, nice overall structure, lovely puppies all round. And what sweeties too!

Ruby made her show debut at the NAKC Erin Classic, August 16-17, and we are thrilled that she won "Best Puppy In Show" on Saturday afternoon!!! She's done quite well at the subsequent shows we've been able to attend as well!

There's something unique about Ruby that reminds us of our Sarge. It might be that same bright eyed expression, their similarity in appearance, their very similar temperaments... only time will tell. Maybe Ruby will be the next generation to produce progeny as strikingly beautiful as our Sarge! She's off to a great start being a very pretty, nicely boned, well balanced young girl. I must add she's as sweet as pie, as if you couldn't tell by her pictures!

Ruby's started the 2010 show year with a bang, winning Best of Breed at the Toronto Sportsmen's Show! With 44 Shilohs in attendance, this was no easy feat! She's now a Canadian Champion and we couldn't be happier.
