Puppy News!

The reason for my involvement in this breed is due to an internet search to find a large German Shepherd without the exaggerated sloping topline. I found the type of dog I was looking for via our Breed Founder's website back in 2000. His name was Siskiyou. Our first Shiloh ended up being our most beloved Sarge, and our Kai-Lyn legacy has continued to grow and flourish since. But we have Siskiyou to thank for drawing us toward this incredible breed. Chaos is a Siskiyou son, and sire of the infamous Meg, Adam, River, Sirius and Lilly. Chaos was a Grand Victor, 5 time National Select, Breed Champion, International World Super Cup Champion in Gold (GV 5xNS bi WSCSg.CH-G), multiple Veteran Champions and Canine Good Citizen (CGC). During his show career Chaos earned over 25 IABCA (International All Breed Canine Association) titles making him one of the highest titled Shiloh Shepherds in IABCA history. To describe it as an honour to carry forth his legacy with our China is an understatement. I most appreciate how things come full circle, in that our interest in the breed was sparked by Siskiyou, and here we are with the opportunity to bring his incredible son Chaos into our breeding program so many years later. China's pedigree is chock full of Champions on both sides. China is a beautifully put together girl, great bone, perfect tail, lovely small ears, and one of the nicest well balanced heads I've seen in a female. She strongly inherited the gentle expression and sweet temperament of her sire Carter (Kai-Lyn's Carter of Mt. Airy) including his expressive vocalizations and compulsion to offer a gift to anyone entering our home. China also exhibits the cutest full-body wiggle whenever she wags her tail! We expect her to pass all of these sweet personality traits down to her puppies. She was a National Select 2010 for the National Shiloh Breeder's Registry, with quite a few "excellent" critiques from judges at herding specialties as well. All in all, she's our sweet, beautiful and goofy love-bug. She carries both Artus and Boz in the 3rd behind her. Type, type, type!!! Look at the pictures of Chaos and China closely, as this is what I expect to see from this pairing. Stocky, great bone, exceptional height, super intelligence, deep pigment, rich coat color, and a very well balanced pedigree of diverse dogs. To me, China is one of the best representatives of old blood combined with new, and Chaos is indisputably one of the best representatives of our original lines. He is loved and ever missed by his owner, Bev Roth since he walked the Rainbow Bridge in 2004. Thankfully, she had the foresight to have him collected and frozen for the future. We are hoping this future will be NOW with the pairing of China to Chaos. Should the breeding be successful, I'll be accepting applications from dedicated homes for this very rare and special combination of lines.
THANK YOU!!!!! FOR YOUR INTEREST... Virginia Storey

Big beautiful Envy blessed Genesis Shilohs with 11 healthy pups by Carter, born over December 29/30 2010. Michelle wrote of the pairing: "We are thrilled to be pairing Envy with the outstanding Carter from Kai-Lyn Shilohs. Envy, is without a doubt the largest, most impressive smooth female I have personally seen. Envy is extremely tall, rivaling many males in size, she is masculine in her build with an outstanding head, good substance, lovely conformation, a perfect tail, a sweet, soft temperament and excellent hips! Carter is one of my favorite plush boys, he has a perfect head with proper dome, short, wide muzzle and small ears, he has great bone, great size, a proper tail and a wonderful, laidback temperament. We anticipate large pups with gorgeous heads, good bone, size and sweet temperaments, smooths and plushes anticipated." We can't wait to watch these pups mature! Visit the Genesis Shilohs website for updates. Poppy had 5 Boys and 2 Girls on August 22nd 2009. We wish to thank Chain's owner, Cher Mundy of Shadowgate Farm Shilohs for the chance to take her magnificent Chain to our sweet Poppy. We are just thrilled with the beautiful TEMPERAMENTS we're seeing in this litter, and so far the pups are well above average in size for their age too! Click here for more info on this litter!
Litter #1 - Makeeda gave birth to 4 massive puppies on May 18th, 2007. She had 2 boys and 2 girls, and we kept one girl from this litter who we named Poppy. You can read more about Poppy here on this website. Litter #2 - Makeeda gave birth to Five beautiful girls on January 19th, 2008. All 5 Girls have gone to their new homes! Click here for more info on these beautiful princesses! Eternal thanks to Wendy Fullerton (Makeeda's mommy) of Raid the Wind Kennels for her vision to put Carter and Makeeda together. Their puppies are extraordinary. Phenix gave birth to 7 boys and 2 girls on February 8, 2008. Each puppy is being cherished and spoiled by their new owners! Thanks to Suzy Graham (Phenix's mommy) of Tantara Shiloh Shepherds for finding such adoring homes for each of the babes. I'm very impressed with this combination of lines! Old blood with new blood, and we have some gentle giants! Trinity gave birth to 4 boys and 3 girls on May 22, 2008. We've seen so much of Carter in his progeny to date, and the Trinity litter is no exception! Michelle Bowler of Genesis Shilohs did a WONDERFUL job rearing the babes, and Trinity was just a super mom. Watch this litter grow on Genesis Shilohs website: As They Grow...
Lucky Number '7' pops up again! Pepper gave birth to 4 boys and 3 girls on December 9, 2008. ONCE AGAIN, we're seeing so much of Carter in his progeny! Pepper's babies where probably the most consistent litter to date, and Barb and Doug Kirtley of Semper Fi Shilohs deserve über kudos on their first litter with Pepper. Pepper has proven to be a noteworthy, wonderful dam and we wish her every success on her future litters. We've kept our pick girl from this litter and named her China in honor of my husband Peter's mom. See more of China on our website: About China |
